Update: April 6, 2021

The Monroe County Health Department has placed a two-week suspension on all youth ice hockey activities due to a COVID-19 outbreak related to a tournament at Bill Grays Iceplex last weekend.

Rochester Spring Hockey and the Webster Ice Arena have both reviewed this siuation and our schedules. We have enough flexibility in our schedule to delay our start until April 20 while still ending before Memorial Day weekend. This would not significantly change the days-of-the-week used be each division.

With this change the following are the new key dates:

  • Tuesday, April 20 - Evaluation Session #1
  • Thursday, April 22 - Evaluation Session #2
  • Saturday, April 24 - RWB First Games. Squirt, PeeWee, Bantam practices
  • Sunday, April 25 - HS 3-on-3 first games
  • Monday, April 26, PeeWee and Bantam first games
  • Tuesday, April 27, Squirt and Bantam first games
  • Sunday, May 23, HS 3-on-3 Playoff/Finals
  • Wednesday, May 26, PeeWee Finals
  • Thursday, May 27, Squirt and Bantam Finals

Thanks

Rochester Spring Hockey

Rochester Spring Hockey is back for 2021 at the Webster Ice Arena.

The Rochester Spring Hockey League is designed as a FUN and affordable way to continue your hockey season. The RSHL starts in late March and ends before Memorial Day, just in time for kids to get outside for Spring sports and activities. There are no conflicts with school vacations!

Youth levels are designed for players to have maximum fun without the pressures of the regular hockey season. All games will be played at the Webster Ice Arena: Rochester’s premier hockey rink. Games are no-check with penalty’s resulting in a penalty shot. Teams will consist of small rosters so that everyone gets plenty of ice time.

Whether you played house or travel level hockey, our program accommodates all skill levels. Divisions include: RWB/Mites, Squirts, Peewees, Bantams.  For Midgets, we also offer a High School/Junior level in which games are played in a 3 on 3 format, plus a goalie.
